Companion to the movie, not a book

Im torn between 2 and 3 stars.

This would be better billed as a companion to the movie. As a book, it was disappointing. Storyline was basically what I assume is the main details of the movie linked sequentially but a bit disjointed -it was long too, too long? The narrator is like the character Puss, but he sounds so bored! Very monotone, like even HE didnt enjoy the story.

That being said, if your kiddo likes the movie, I bet theyll like this app. Lots of tiny clips from the movie and plenty of cute activities hidden in the pages. My kids esp. loved decorating Humpty Dumpty (you can add facial hair, hats, masks, etc.).
